This Solar System Includes: 58mm x 1800mm vacuum tube solar water collector (with all necessary components) Food grade stainless steel solar water storage tank Working Station (circulation pump, controller, expansion tank, pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, tempering valve) Automatic Air Vent (for purging air from top-most portion of the system) 3 gallons of food grade inhibited propylene glycol Thermostatic mixing valve (for prevention of scalding) Submersible Water pump (for initial air purge/charging of fluid into system Additional Components Needed / Parts List Below is a short part list needed for typical installations. These are the basic parts needed so the list is not complete as every installation is different.
Quantities needed of each may vary depending on installation. Metal piping for the closed loop. Traditionally copper is used. We highly recommend our flexible stainless steel tubing for better system performance, corrosion resistance, easier installation and *cheaper cost. *flexible stainless steel tubing is cheaper than traditional rigid copper piping since fittings such as elbows are not needed, and there's no need for solder or a torch. Pipe insulation for the solar piping if not already pre-insulated Aluminum pipe wrap for protecting the insulation from UV rays (only where the insulation is exposed to weathering) ball valves may be needed for closing/opening the system for charging or changing the fluid. We recommend our stainless steel ball valves Pipe fittings for connection of piping to the working station. We recommend our stainless steel fittings for a long lasting installation Wire is required for extending the connection for the temperature sensor to the collector outside. this needs to be at least 22 gauge, and may need to be larger in diameter if the length of wire is over 100 meters. Typically, installations with regular speaker wire are most suitable.
